Garner reviews from thousands of actual patients

Garner applies more than 550 proprietary clinical metrics to one of the largest medical claims databases in the country, covering over 60 billion records from 320 million patients. Doctors are evaluated on patient outcomes, complication rates, adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines, and cost efficiency, then ranked against peers in the same specialty and local market.

Most members receive their reimbursement about 5 to 6 weeks after the date of service when direct deposit is set up, or 6 to 8 weeks if a check is mailed. The timing depends largely on how quickly the provider's billing department submits the claim to the health insurance plan, since Garner reimburses after the insurance company processes the claim.

Setting up direct deposit in the Garner Health app is the fastest path, and the Concierge team will reach out directly if any additional details are needed before a payment goes out.

Members use the Garner Health app to search for in-network doctors by name, specialty, condition, or ZIP code, with Top Providers marked by a green badge. When members see a Top Provider, Garner reimburses their qualifying out-of-pocket medical costs, such as copays, office visits, tests, and surgeries, through an employer-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA).

Additionally, a Concierge team is available by message or email for personalized help, including adding providers, answering benefit questions, and resolving claims.
